Visitation & Embalming

Visitation Services:

At the time of death, many family and friends may not have the chance to say goodbye. We do believe that it is essential for some family and friends to have a visitation to see their loved one before they are put to rest. Many grief counselors believe it can help with the transition of grief and bring comfort to those closest to the deceased.

Our family and staff can arrange a visitation in a private setting to accommodate you and your family's schedule. Visitations can be both private or public. It is the family's choice as it is a moment to be with your loved one.

What is Embalming?

Embalming is the art and science of preserving human remains by treating them with chemical foundations. Embalming is used for families wishing to have a visitation or an open casket at a funeral.

Our licensed and experienced embalmer, George McKenzie, has been practicing for over thirty years.

Please note Embalming is not required by law, but it may be suggested by our funeral directors at certain times.
