The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Bradley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Ian Klassen
Condolence: Dear Lorriane, Vikki-Lynn, Alf and Jim:

I am very sorry to learn of Johns passing. I virtually grew up in the Bradley home and for many years had lots of interaction with "Big John". He was a very significant presence and I have many fond memories of him and my great childhood friend Jim.

Warmest wishes,

Ian Klassen

Condolence From: Stephanie Carter
Condolence: Dear Lorraine, Vik, Jim and Alf. So sad to hear of John's passing. I will forever have very fond memories of growing up across the lane from Chez Bradley. Running from your back yard to ours on weekends and summer breaks while our dads puttered in the garden. I will also never forget your Dads infectious laugh.
You are all in my thoughts and heart,
love Stephanie

Condolence From: Heather Carter
Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of John Bradley. As a husband, father, grandfather, uncle & friend he has left many behind who will miss him deeply. During this sad time there may be some satisfaction to know that you can celebrate the end of a very long life well lived.

I have many happy memories of spending time at the Bradley’s house growing up. I remember Mr. Bradley as always being around whether doing yard work, relaxing in the living room with a drink or chasing us kids to keep us out of trouble! With 2 young boys, a daughter, plus me being there, which felt like, most of the time – he had to keep an eye on us. Many times I was invited over for dinner and enjoyed meals sitting with Mr. Bradley and family around the kitchen nook/booth.

What I remember most is the warmth that he would greet me with. His eyes would sparkle and I can remember the sound of his voice. He took the time to acknowledge me in a warm way. (Not something all fathers did back in the 60’s and 70’s!)

May your hearts be filled with many wonderful memories of times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Love to all of you.

Condolence From: Jim Carter
Condolence: I was so sorry to hear that John had passed. You and the Bradley family have been a part of the Carter family since our days on 61st Ave. John saw all our kids grow up through the formative years. Although we have not had contact in recent years he was a part of some very good memories. He will be missed.

Jim
